Communication, Identity and Technology (CIT)
About this project
Project Communication, Identity and Technology, CIT, focuses questions related to language, language-use and identity positions, with particular focus on children and young people's everyday lives inside and outside institutional school settings, both in the present and the past. The project presents new perspectives on issues based upon completed and ongoing work within the research group Communication, Culture and Diversity, CCD, at the School of Education and Communication at Jönköping University. It has special relevance to the Deaf Studies focus within CCD. Project CIT contributes with a new empirical focus in the Educational Sciences, where a specific interest relates to dimensions of marginalization processes in a broad sense.
