About the programme:
The need to organise and manage the global exchange of goods, services and information between companies and organisations is rapidly increasing. To stay competitive, companies must adapt to an increasingly globalised trade environment where cost efficiency, coordination and governance combined with the demands of sustainable business are essential. The knowledge required to work across borders will be a key skill and highly sought after in the labour market.
The programme gives you a broad understanding by combining the core subjects of logistics and supply chain management with sustainability and information technology studies. You will gain a solid theoretical knowledge and understanding of supply chain development as well as the tools needed to analyse, develop and change it.
The master’s programme has a strong connection between theory and practice and provides you with real-world experience through guest lectures, company visits, real-life cases and insights from the faculty's internationally recognised research.
All courses are conducted in English, and the programme is open to students from around the world, which means your studies will be enriched by international perspectives on the issues discussed during the programme and will prepare you for a global career.
Upon graduation, you will be well-equipped for an international career in supply chain management and logistics in both the private and public sectors. Former students have gone on to hold positions such as procurement manager, logistics manager, supply chain manager, product manager, marketing manager or director.
After graduation, you will be eligible to apply to the PhD programme in business administration at JIBS and other PhD programmes in business administration worldwide.
