Founding Director of MMTC, Robert G. Picard, revisited MMTC and gave a research seminar on media work and labor

On March 16, 2016, former director of MMTC, Professor Robert G. Picard, revisited the center and delivered a research seminar entitled “Implications of the changing nature of media work and labor".

Robert is the Founding Director of MMTC and worked at MMTC as Professor of Media Economics during 2003-2010. Currently, he is the North American Representative of the Reuters Institute of the University of Oxford and is an affiliated researcher of MMTC.

Robert is a world renowned scholar and expert on media economics and policy, and researches about the business challenges facing media in the digital age.
