Fashion beyond the stitch at Spring Inspiration
Spring Inspiration 2026 filled Nivå at Science Park Towers with creativity, an engaged audience, and strong student involvement. Under the theme Beyond the Stitch, Scandinavia’s largest student‑run fashion show demonstrated how fashion can be craft, art, and storytelling all at once.

Top ranking for Jönköping International Business School in new survey
Jönköping International Business School at Jönköping University is highly ranked when students assess the quality of their education. In a survey conducted by the trade union Akavia, the business school’s programmes in business and economics stand out, ranking among the highest in terms of both lecture quality and overall impression.

Successful teaching initiative becomes permanent
The Professional development for teachers (VAL) programme is aimed at people who work in schools or preschool who do not have a teaching qualification. Since 2011, the programme has been time-limited, but at the end of last year the government decided to make the initiative permanent. The programme is held in Swedish only.“Even though I’ve worked for many years in after-school programme and therefore have a lot of experience, I’ve felt that I lacked knowledge and a deeper understanding of what’s in the policy documents and how I can apply that in my work,” says Johanna Senges, who will complete the programme this summer.

How Öxnehaga can be developed into a safer area
How can the residential area Öxnehaga in Huskvarna become a safer, more pleasant, and a more sustainable neighbourhood? Around 60 students at the School of Engineering at Jönköping University have developed proposals for this. Their work is currently on display in an exhibition at the school.
