Updates for Windows 10
Microsoft distributes once every six month a major update to Windows 10 called feature updates. Each feature update consists of new functions, other changes to the operation system and security updates. The update will be installed in a process called Inplase Upgrade. The Inplace Upgrade will replace the present version of Windows 10 with the latest but will preserve all your files, settings and software.
The uppdates will be installed automatically and restart will take place during out-of-office hours.
Lab computers (for students) and lecture computers will be updated in another process.
To see which version of Windows 10 a JU PC is currently running, go to Start, and then select Settings > System > About.
