Traditional doctoral thesis ceremony

The time has come for the PhD-students Sara Hvit and Laura Darcy to nail their theses to the University's wall.

The traditional nailing of Laura Darcy's doctoral thesis in Health and Care Sciences to the wall takes place on Thursday, 7 May, at 10:30 in the "Red Room" at the School of Health Sciences. She will defend her doctoral thesis The everyday life of children, through their cancer trajectory on Friday, 5 June, at 13:00 in Sparbankssalen at Borås University.

The traditional nailing of Sara Hvit Lindstrand's doctoral thesis in Education to the wall takes place on Thursday, 7 May, at 13:30 in the foyer of the School of Education and Communication. She will defend her doctoral thesis Små barns tecken- och meningsskapande i förskola - Multimodalt görande och teknologi on on Thursday, 4 June, at 13:15 in HJ-aulan at the School of Education and Communication. Note that the defence will be held in Swedish.

All are welcome to attend both the nailing ceremonies and the defenses.
