International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH) has published a special issue “Participation and Well Being Among Children and Youth with Childhood Onset Disabilities”, of which professor Mats Granlund from Jönköping University and associate professor Dana Anaby from McGill University are guest editors.

Early intervention strengthens children's mental health
Is it possible to detect behavioural disorders at an early age and what efforts can then be made? On behalf of the National Board of Health and Welfare, the research group CHILD at Jönköping University has studied this in the project “Early detection - early intervention.”
CHILD on a trip to China
In September CHILD-researchers Karin Enskär and Karina Huus together with a group from the School of Health and Welfare, went on a trip to China looking for collaborative partnerships. They visited 5 universities, whereof two already are partners to our School and 3 possible new collaborative partners.

Participation concerning children with disabilities and interventions is the theme of a paper that is being discussed in a podcast by the journal Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology. CHILD-professor Mats Granlund is one of the authors of the paper.

CHILD-project granted 560 000 SEK from STINT
The Swedish researcher Karina Huus at Jönköping University and the South African researcher Shakila Dada from the South African partner University of Pretoria, both received an equal amount for the joint project Participation for children with disability.
How health is promoted in children with experience of cancer treatment
On January 28, 2016, PhD-student Eva-Lena Einberg will publicly defend her doctoral theis about promotion of health in young children with experience of cancer treament. All are welcome!
