Entrepreneurial Finance 7,5 Credits

Course Contents

The purpose of the course is to provide students with a broad overview of the financial issues facing start-up and growing enterprises. These may be divided broadly into three objectives:
1. Master the financial tools required to develop and grow a business,
2. Learn how to make financial projections and value new businesses, and
3. Acquaint students with sources of equity and debt financing as well as applicability and financial contract design.
Attention will be paid to the acquisition of financing for new ventures, financial management of new and growing businesses, and the harvest of the entrepreneurial venture. Specifically, the course will cover entry strategies, legal forms of businesses, determining financial requirements for the start-up/and or growing business, meeting financial requirements, risk capital and harvest strategies.

Bachelor's degree including 7.5 credits in entrepreneurship
