Impactful research is more important than ever. In fact, major funding bodies (national and international) consider it a fundamental aspect of almost all research programs. And yet, to a certain extent, impact remains vague both in terms of what it means, as well as with respect to how to plan it, and write it. In this Grants Office – Science Park joint session, we will shed light on the intricate tasks which are impact planning and writing. We will touch upon the conceptual aspect of defining impact, followed by a more practical overview of planning impact, developing a competitive impact plan and writing an effective impact section. Among some of the issues to be explored are the Impact Planning Canvas and prioritizing beneficiaries/stakeholders/end-users.
The session will be delivered by Grants Office’s Shira Becker who will be joined by Science Park’s Peter Schön – Business Development Manager, and Louise Andersson – Innovation Advisor.
