New mobile website to be launched

On Tuesday 17 December the new mobile version of the University web will be launched.

The process of developing the mobile web has been going on since last spring. Web developer Patrik Sandberg says that it has the same content as the regular web, but it is designed for mobile, so that menus are easily accessible and the text easy to read even on a small screen.

- It feels like an important project, 20-30 percent of those who enter the university's website do it on a mobile, says Patrik.

On Tuesday 17 December, the university's web might not function properly. It's a temporary problem that will to resolve itself  in a few hours, when the mobile version is in place.
