Continued adaptation of on-campus education in the autumn

Jönköping University plans to continue the corona-adapted on-campus teaching during the autumn term 2021. This is established in a new President’s decision.

During the autumn semester, there are many new students for the educational programmes at JU. For these students to have the opportunity to get to know their new study environment, first-semester students, together with study groups with laboratory or practical elements and study groups with examining elements that are not suitable to complete digitally, will be a JU-joint priority in terms of activities and presence on campus.

The Dean of each school and JUE is given a mandate to decide which other study groups are to be prioritised within the framework of the school’s activities. The Dean has a continued responsibility for the teaching being conducted in accordance with the Public Health Agency of Sweden’s regulations and general guidelines as well as the restrictions decided by the government. This applies both in the classroom and in corridors when entering and exiting a building.

The decision applies from the start of the autumn semester, 21 August 2021.

More information will be sent out to new students before the start of the semester.

If you have questions about the teaching, please contact programme manager/course coordinator.
