New coordinator for Equal Opportunities

Marie Böwing-Lindström is the new coordinator for Equal Opportunities for students at Jönköping University (JU). In the past, there have been appointed persons from the schools who have been ombudsmen for Equal Opportunities, but now these tasks are taken over by Marie. Marie is also a counsellor at the Student Health Care at JU.

The role as coordinator for Equal Opportunities means that Marie will be support for students in case of perceived discrimination, she will give support if you want to make a discrimination report and ensure that students can get counselling if they want.

The role also includes coordinating and channeling issues regarding Equal Opportunities for students and coordinating issues related to Equal Opportunities for students via the Work Environment Forum and the Work Environment Committees at JU in close collaboration with the Equal Opportunities coordinator for staff.
