<p><strong>Välkommen till Annika Moscatis docentföreläsning fredagen den 25 augusti, kl 10.00-11.00 i Gjuterisalen (E1405)!</strong></p><p><strong>Titel på föreläsningen:</strong></p><p>Digitalization for a Sustainable Built Environment</p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>The construction sector is a key area that has significant impacts on economy and environment. The sector contributes to countries’ economies, provides direct and indirect job opportunities and satisfies people’s needs for buildings and facilities. Moreover, this sector is one of the main consumers of resources: about 50% of the total use of raw materials, and 36% of the global final energy use. Abstract

<p>Välkomna på Karen Ann Bloms slutseminarium i pedagogik!<br /><br /><strong>Titel:</strong><br />Ordinary People, Meaningful Pasts: Negotiating Family History Research Narratives of Identity, the Past and Learning<br /><br /><strong>Sammanfattning:</strong><br />Family history research is a prevalent example of the use of the past for present and future purposes. Identity and where and whom a person comes from are explicitly intertwined. In an increasingly accessible globalised and digitalised context, destabilisation and attempts to strengthen imagined community boundaries are perceived through the rise of populist and nationalist politics and increased awareness of mental health crisis linked to existential questions, xenophobia, and questions of authenticity. Ordinary People, Meaningful Pasts: Negotiating Family History Research Narratives of Identity, the Past and Learning
Sammanfattning:
Family history research is a prevalent example of the use of the past for present and future purposes. Identity and where and whom a person comes from are explicitly intertwined. In an increasingly accessible globalised and digitalised context, destabilisation and attempts to strengthen imagined community boundaries are perceived through the rise of populist and nationalist politics and increased awareness of mental health crisis linked to existential questions, xenophobia, and questions of authenticity.
