Workshop: Quantitative methods

This workshop will focus on how to analyze and present results on ordinal data when mean values are often used in other articles using the same instrument.

The workshops about research methods at School of Health and Welfare are developed for PhD students as well as junior and senior researchers with an interest in learning more about research methods.

 Aims with the workshops are to:

• Enhance the research at HHJ by increasing knowledge about and interest in various types of quantitative analysis methods.

• Stimulate collaboration between junior and senior researchers by creating a meeting place for dialogue, learning, and cooperation.

• Inspire the use of new and innovative analysis methods in quantitative research.

The quantitative research workshops will be led by Ingemar Kåreholt respectively and focus on study design and analysis of data. The workshops also give you the opportunity to discuss your research, and if you want to discuss one of your studies/papers, please contact: ingemar.kareholt@ju.se
