Anne-Le Morville’s research interest is occupational therapy (OT) within mental health, with a focus on the migrant population and questions of migration and social inclusion in relation to daily life in both asylum centres and in the host country. A special group of interest is survivors of torture and their ability to function in daily life. Anne-Le Morville’s current research is about migrants’ connection to the labour market in Sweden. Due to the legal system migrants may lack social inclusion through work or education. In cooperation with Jönköping Kommun a project is planned in order to make the transition from refugee to the Swedish labour market as seamless as possible. The project has a participatory approach and interviews with both employers and migrants have been done in order to uncover the needs and wishes from both groups regarding inclusion on the Swedish labour market.

Furthermore, Anne-Le Morville has an interest in the concepts used in OT and occupational science (OS) and the development of instruments used within OT and OS.

Anne-Le Morville is an active member of the A.D.U.L.T. research group.

Anne-Le Morville is an active reviewer for journals within mental health, OT and OS, and guest editor for Journal of Occupational Science.

Anne-Le Morville is a member of the Occupational Science Europe Board and the head of the Occupational Science Europe Research Group.
