Sweden in the Global Economy 7,5 hp

The aim of this course is to provide a general understanding of the Swedish economy and how economic theory helps explain different aspects of the Swedish economic development. The course covers a wide range of topics such as the labour market, the industrial structure, international trade and economic growth in Sweden.

Kursinnehåll

  • Industrialization process in Sweden in the late 19th century
  • Discussing economic growth from a theoretical as well as from an empirical perspective
  • Other aspects of the industry, such as geographical distribution, ownership structure
  • Macro perspectives of the economy

Förkunskapskrav

General entry requirements and 30 credits in Business Administration or Economics including Macroeconomic 7,5 credits and Microeconomics 7,5 credits.
