Critical Issues in Sustainability 4. Advanced Topics in Environmental, Social and Economic Sustainability is an advanced course on several pressing sustainability issues such as climate-induced migration, pandemics, nature-based solutions and governance and negotiation in climate transition. While the course combines research and analysis, problem-solving and independent thinking are important dimensions. Students are encouraged to explore their own solutions to challenging or wicked issues.
Förkunskapskrav
A bachelor’s degree (i.e., the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) with at least 90 credits in educational sciences, social sciences, or related field, including independent, theoretical based work, i.e., a thesis or the equivalent. At least 15 credits in global studies or social science at advanced level. English proficiency is required.
