Team Collaboration in Changing Organisations 7.5 hp

This course explores team development and collaboration within and across health and welfare organisations. It prepares you to manage team collaboration in dynamic and evolving organisational contexts, addressing both current and future challenges in the field. Through a process-oriented approach, you will have the opportunity to select and analyse real cases from your own professional practice, with a focus on team collaboration. Theoretical concepts and perspectives discussed in the course will support you in deepening your understanding of how teams’ function and develop. Web-based group discussions form a central part of the learning process. By sharing reflections and analyses with your fellow students, you will gain valuable insights and broaden your perspective on teamwork in practice. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to critically reflect on team collaboration in professional contexts, supported by scientific literature. You will develop an in-depth understanding of teamwork and collaboration within and between professions and health and welfare organisations, as well as the role of users, patients, and relatives in these processes. The course also examines key aspects such as leadership in teams, interprofessional and multiprofessional collaboration, and how role, identity, and power influence teamwork. Förkunskapskrav

The applicant must hold the minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (i.e. the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) within health and caring sciences, behavioural science, social work, or educational sciences (or the equivalent).
