Application fee

The application fee (SEK 900) must be paid when the application is submitted. The decision on admission is conditional to you paying the invoices for your programme. By paying the fees, you confirm the offered place.

Scholarships for Pathway Year English and Pathway Year General, start autum 2024

Jönköping University Enterprise offers a limited number of scholarships to students who pay tuition fees and who fulfill the requirements of the scholarship and are assessed to be able to complete their studies adequately.

The scholarship amount is equivalent to 30% of the tuition fee for the Pathway Year Programme the student has been admitted to. How much is the scholarship?

30% SEK waiver of the year tuition fee.

The scholarship will accumulate and be deducted from the following semester’s fee. This means that 60% of the tuition fee will be deducted in the second semester.

Application deadline

Application for a scholarship should be uploaded when a student applies for the programme. Only students who made the payment for the programme will be assessed. The deadline for submission is 16 May.

Who can apply?

All new Pathway Year English and Pathway Year General applicants can apply, but there is a limited number of scholarships. You must apply and pay the boarding and tuition fee to be eligible for a scholarship.

Criteria for the scholarship

We will award scholarships based on:

  • Submission of application has been made before the deadline
  • The student being admitted, accepted the place and made the payment for the programme
  • Citizenship of the applicant in a country that is required to pay tuition fees in Sweden
  • Personal statement
    • Describe why you should get a scholarship based on study merits, personal progress, goals with your studies etc.
  • Documents to support personal statement such as recommendation letters and other documents (do not upload documents with sensitive information)
  • Applying for and being eligible for a follow up programme (i.e. a Bachelor or a Master),

Students who have applied to a programme but have not yet received an offer to the programme are encouraged to submit a scholarship application.

When will the scholarships be announced and how?

Successful applicants will be notified approximately around 16 June. The decision will come to the e-mail address that you have stated in the application.

Broad geographical spread and good gender balance are taken into account for the decision.
