Kerstin Johansen, new Associate Dean of Research at JTH.

Kerstin Johansen, professor of integrated product and production development and leader of the SPARK sub-environment in:sure, has been appointed new Associate Dean of Research at JTH.

Kerstin Johansen has been appointed new Associate Dean of Research at the School of Engineering (JTH) at Jönköping University (JU) as of 1 September 2023. Kerstin succeeds Salem Seifeddine who at the same time leaves the position to start as Executive Vice President at JU.

With the profile we have in research and research education and close collaboration with industry, Kerstin, with her solid experience of co-production research and education and strong commitment to developing JTH, feels like the right person for the assignment. Kerstin currently works as a professor of integrated product and production development and leader of the SPARK sub-environment in:sure. She has been employed at JTH since 2019 and has previous experience from working at Linköping University and various industrial companies. Kerstin has extensive experience of creating research collaborations and a broad network of contacts with industry, financiers and industry organizations.
