School of Engineering

The School of Engineering in Jönköping is one of the country's largest educators of university engineers. We collaborate with the business community in the region so that students receive an education adapted to the needs of the market. Therefore, our educations include not only technical knowledge but also entrepreneurship, leadership, communication, sustainable development and the opportunity to make international contacts during the study period.

Study at School of Engineering

The School of Engineering offers education at bachelor, masters and doctoral levels (first, second and third-cycle levels), and 2-year courses at university college level and higher vocational education level.

Research

The research at the School of Engineering focuses on knowledge-intensive product realization in collaboration with the business community. We also run the research and education environment SPARK.

Organisation

The School of Engineering is part of the Jönköping University Foundation and is one of four schools at Jönköping University.

Doctoral Programme

The School of Engineering runs the graduate school Industrial Product Realisation and several business graduate schools in collaboration.

Internationalisation

Internationalisation is a key part of education and research at the School of Engineering. Through global partnerships with over 100 universities, students and staff engage in exchanges, international experiences, and collaborative research—all rooted in mutual knowledge sharing within engineering fields.

The Husqvarna course is celebrating its tenth anniversary, which was marked by an exhibition at JTH. Ten former JTH students, who now work at Husqvarna, showcased and talked about products they work with.

JU Solar Team once again the best Swedish team

JU Solar Team was once again Sweden's best team in the world's largest solar car race, the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia, 24-31 August. The JU students came in eighth place in the competition among 40 participating teams.
