During her course she had the chance to study at Bocconi University, Milan as an exchange student and was awarded a scholarship from the Centre for Family Enterprise and Ownership (CeFEO) for personal accomplishments in the field of family business.

She received a prize for her thesis and graduated with honours. Marina has since returned home to Italy and is currently working in the sales department of Friulintagli SPA, an Italian multinational company and a major supplier of the Swedish furniture giant IKEA.

“What makes a difference in my job, is the ability to deal with people from different cultures, to have a broad mindset, and great self-awareness. All these aspects are the result of my Swedish experience, on both the Pathway Summer Programme and JIBS”
