Erasmus+ inclusion support

If you are a student with a disability or have children, you have the possibility to apply for the Erasmus+ inclusion support to cover additional costs that might occur during your exchange studies or a traineeship.

Inclusion support top-up for students with disabilities

If you have a documented permanent or long-term disability, including disability caused by a physical, mental or health related condition, you can apply for a supplement of EUR 250/month on top of your regular grant amount. To receive this additional grant, you must indicate it on your Erasmus application.

Note - for short term mobility and short blended mobility including BIP (Blended Intensive Programmes) the following top-up supplement applies: a top-up of 100 EUR for mobilities with a duration of 5-14 days and 150 EUR for mobilities with a duration of 15-30 days.


Inclusion support for students with children

If you are a student with children under the age of 18, you are entitled to an additional grant of EUR 250/month.

The grant applies regardless of whether the child accompanies you on the exchange and regardless of how many children you have. To receive the additional grant, you must indicate this on your Erasmus application and upload a family certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency in our Case Management System. The family certificate must show that you are the legal guardian and contain yours and your child(ren)´s name and your relationship.

Inclusion grant for actual additional costs

If, in connection with your stay abroad, you incur additional costs* related to a physical, mental or health related condition, that exceeds EUR 250/month, you can apply for an additional inclusion grant for actual additional costs.

* Examples are: adapted accommodation, travel assistance, medical attendance, supportive equipment, adaption of learning material, an accompanying person for students and staff with disabilities.
