  • To prepare course registrations
  • To administer the reporting of results
  • To process course and programme syllabi for all schools at JU
  • To manage information for incoming and outgoing students in Ladok
  • To process the final administration of degree projects

You can find us here

We are located in House K, on the 2nd floor, entrance A.

Some administrative systems that
we work in

KursInfo is the syllabus database at JU. Here we add the course and programme syllabi that you can find on the JU web. If you would like to see the courses included in your programme, you can find them here. The page is updated before each new semester.

Ladok is a national administrative system for student records used by Swedish higher education institutions. In addition to personal data about each student, the system also contains information on admission, course registrations, results, discontinuation of studies, exchange studies, degrees etc. You can follow your studies by logging in to StudentLadok, where you for instance register for the courses within each programme semester, can change your address and create transcripts of record.

The Course Selection page is part of Ladok's Web Services and here you can select courses if there are elective courses or tracks in your programme.

IntApps is a database used for processing information on incoming and outgoing exchange students. We use this database for the send-out of transcripts of record to partner universities and for credit transfers for outgoing students. Mobility Online Application (MOA) will be replacing IntApps soon.

DiVA is an administrative system used for the publication and archiving of bachelor's and master's (60 and 120 credits) degree projects.

Useful terms during your study period

Full-time student - You are considered a full-time student if you study 30 credits per semester, i.e. 1.5 credits per week

Course registration - At the start of each semester, as a programme student, you must register on all the courses included in your programme that semester. The registration is completed through StudentLadok.

Academic calendar - The academic calendar shows the dates of each semester, exam periods, study periods etc. The dates may differ depending on which JU school you study at. You can find the academic calendars for all schools here.

Course date - Contains information on which weeks a course is given, the pace of study and location.

Course code - A unique code for each course made up of six characters. You will notice the code when registering for an exam, checking your study results, registering for a course or logging in to the Learning Management System Canvas etc.

Module code - A course contains one or more module codes which are connected to the element/s of examination of the course. Your result is registered on the module code. When a result has been registered for each module code of a course, a final grade for the course can be given.

Examiner - An examiner is appointed for each course on first and second cycle. Among other things, the examiner is responsible for grading the students. Information on examiners for each specific course can be found on the course page on our web and in the Learning Management System Canvas.
