Chee Wei Loh


Chee Wei is a Learning & Organisational Development practitioner and educator with over a decade of experience spanning across the petrochemical, utilities, multimedia & infocomms technology, healthcare, and education industries in both the public and private sectors. In his previous role, he led the training department of a Fortune 150 U.S. company.

He had delivered large-scale leadership development and technical competency interventions to all levels of employees in complex, award winning organisations. More recently, he implemented Mindful Leadership and coaching programmes to senior leaders and managers.

Chee Wei is adept at translating cutting edge research from leadership research, organisational behaviour and positive psychology into scientifically based practical strategies to help leaders and organisations to overcome challenges and to thrive.

Currently, Chee Wei teaches courses in organisational development and change, international management and, organisational behaviour at the University of Western Australia’s (UWA) Business School.

He received his Bachelor of Commerce (1st Class Honours) in Management, and minor in Asian Business from the UWA Business School. Chee Wei is also a trained coach. He holds a neuroscience coaching certificate accredited by the International Coach Federation.

Chee Wei has a special interest in the field of Asian Studies. This interest leads him to pursue a minor in Asian Business during his undergraduate studies. Family-owned businesses dominated the Asian economies. With the rise of Asia, these family enterprises will be the main engine for Asia’s continued economic growth in the coming decades. To further understand this unique business model, Chee Wei completed the 'Certificate in Family Business Management' executive programme delivered by the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) in Jönköping University’s International Business School in Sweden. He would be happy to draw on his Talent & Leadership Development experience to collaborate with family businesses to overcome their human resource challenges, such as succession.
