Apply for a bank account

Tuesday and Wednesday 6-7 September, SEB (bank) has set up an office at JU. SEB will help you with the application for a bank account.

Without a Swedish personal identity number (personnummer) the bank service will be more limited and it might be better to keep your credit card from your home country. You will not have the internet service with this kind of bank card that is connected to the account.

SEB can answer your questions and we advise you to see SEB when they visit JU instead of visiting them directly. If you are in need of a Swedish bank account, please print out the attached document and fill in the information that is needed and bring it with you. Don’t forget to bring the necessary document that is needed as well (stated in the document). Download the document here.

SEB will be here together with The Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) the following dates:

Tuesday 6 September

09.00-12.00 and 13.00-15.00 at School of Education and Communication, room Hb116 (entrance floor)

Wednesday 7 September

09.00-12.00 and 13.00-15.00 at JIBS, room B2044 (Trioplastsalen)
