Service limitations at the University Library

As of 26 March, the library will be closed, except for collecting requested books on weekdays between 12-14. You can still contact the library via telephone, or by using Ask the library.

Loans

Students and staff can request books, whether they are on loan or not. Library staff will collect the books and put them on the reservations shelf for pick up. You will be notified by e-mail in the morning of the day the books can be collected.

The loan period for books from the course book collection has been changed from two to seven days. Course books which are currently on loan will also get this lengthened loan period when they are renewed. Please keep in mind that you still must renew course book loans in Primo.

No overdue fees

For the time being, there will be no overdue fees for ongoing and new loans. The library has made this change to help you avoid visits to campus if you are ill or concerned about the risk of infection. Remember that others might be waiting for the books. Please return them as soon as you can.

Returning books

You can come by and return library books on weekdays between 12:00 and 14:00. You can also leave the books at any time in the box for returns in the entrance hall or in the red box outside the library entrance.

Group rooms

The group room corridors are accessible with JU-card every day, between 6-23.
