The programme development group is an internal forum focused on a specific degree programme. It is one essential part in the quality assurance and continuous improvement of JIBS’ degree programmes.

Purpose and scope

The group exists to support delivery of a high-quality education programme. To that end, the meetings should focus on:

  • Reviewing the status of the programme - including recognizing strengths and sharing best- practice as well as discussing weaknesses and challenges that need attention.
  • Ensuring delivery in line with programme goals - including overseeing relevant progression, discussing curriculum changes, and monitoring overlaps.

Composition

The following functions are members of the programme development groups:

  • Programme Director (chair)
  • Examiners of compulsory courses in the programme
  • Study counsellor
  • Student representatives
  • JIBS’ Responsible in Action champion

Other functions and/or teachers can be co-opted as required.

If you have questions connected to the Programme Development Group, please contact the relevant Programme Director Team.
