JU ShareFile / JUReShare is a service for secure storage of data.

Files stored in JU ShareFile / JUReShare are saved at servers located at JU. The information is encrypted with regular backups. Access to the storage space can be assigned to both staff at JU and external users.

Areas of responsibility

IT department

Folder owner
  • create folders/s
  • assign folder owner (staff at JU)
  • assign licenses to JU staff

  • order folder from the IT department
  • order allocation of license to JU staff from the IT department
  • assign permissions to colleagues at JU (need license)
  • invite and assign permissions to guests (external) - called Clients in ShareFile
  • remove permissions and users that should no longer have access

Order storage space

Staff can order storage space in JU ShareFile / JUReShare via a form in the case management system External link, opens in new window..

Access and accounts

JU staff need to have a license that the folder owner orders via a case to the IT department. Externals can be invited as Clients.

We have a limited number of licenses for ShareFile, JU accounts will therefore be removed after 6 months of inactivity. All data remains and accounts can be set up again. When reactivating accounts, we need to know which folders the account should have access to, because that connection no longer exists.

You access folders and files through a web page, and you can also install the ShareFile Desktop App software for easy access and automatic login. The app is available for download via the web page, in the upper right corner.
