Motivation:

"Monica Dahlbom was chairperson of the Foundation Governing Board at JU for seven years. She began the assignment at a time when several members chose to leave the board and many others were new. Through her knowledge, her calm manner and her ability to create a good spirit and good structure, Monica Dahlbom provided the Board with assured guidance and confidence in the future. Monica Dahlbom's background as a lawyer/judge and Head of Negotiations at the Swedish Agency for Government Employers gave her valuable experience that she used in a commendable way in the role of chairperson, in everything from decision formulation to insightful and analytical inputs into board documents. Monica Dahlbom was clear, had a balanced approach and showed a very good ability to create a permissive and open atmosphere where everyone had the opportunity to speak their mind while fostering discussions that were constructive and forward-looking. Since her time as chairperson came to an end, Monica Dahlbom has been convener of the Foundation Governing Board’s Electoral Committee. A task that she handles with wisdom and very high ambition.”
